Want the ultimate in strength, performance and bling? - The EVP Torrent Carbon Fiber Intake Plenum was designed to complement EVP Big Turbo Upgrades solving performance limitations and strength issues while precisely balancing airflow to each cylinder.  It is also the most badass looking intake plenum found anywhere.

OEM Can Am plenums are made of plastic and cannot support big boost / horsepower due to airflow restrictions. Additionally, OEM plenums expand and can burst around 22+ pounds of boost without a manifold clamp to add additional support. EVP teamed up with TTR who engineered an aerospace quality lightweight carbon fiber / CNC machined billet aluminum intake plenum to solve these problems. The Torrent-C plenums have been tested on our 500+HP engines producing 50+pounds of boost. Designed for stock or larger 68MM throttle bodies.

Designed Specifically for the EVP Paragon P46 and Desert Storm DS-355 and higher turbo systems. The plenum plays a huge role in providing the engine evenly with air. It’s a large cavity at the top of the engine intake manifold and receives air from the throttle body and evenly distributes the air through runners which take the air directly into the engine. 

It is responsible for evenly supplying air to the cylinders. During the intake stroke, the piston moves down which opens the intake valves, drawing high pressure air into the cylinder chamber. The better the design, the closer the tolerance is from one cylinder to another. The runner length also plays a part in where in the RPM range the plenum will be most efficient. This is where Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software comes into play. By using advanced software, the design can be optimized to balance the flow AND provide a wide rpm range where the plenum provides peak cylinder filling.  Couple this with the EVP/TTR Carbon Plenums unrestricted airflow means absolute maximum power across a broad range of RPM when compared to other designs. 

This type of engineering is far beyond the norm for the off-road industry. Two additional vacuum and/or boost ports are provided for a blow-off valve, boost gauge or rising rate fuel pressure supply. Comes equipped with correctly sized charge tubes for either stock or big throttle body applications.
